For safety reasons, after 30 seconds the decalcification process (Clean Mode) cannot be stopped until the system has been rinsed in accordance with the instructions. If this happens, follow these steps.
These steps should be used if you have accidentally placed the Truma Hot Water Heater into clean mode. Note that this is not the decalcification process which is a required maintenance on the Truma. For proper decalcification please follow the steps in
Truma Decalcification
Steps to get Truma out of Clean Mode
STEP 1: Power to the AquaGo must be ON from the main panel.
STEP 2: The outside switch on the AquaGo needs to be in the ON position, either up or down.
STEP 3: Turn inside AquaGo Control Panel from OFF to ECO or Comfort mode (top 2 positions on switch) until you see an Amber LED illuminate in the center of the rotary dial.
STEP 4: Wait until you hear the AquaGo circulation pump cycle on and off – You may need to “wake up” the switch by turning it On and Off a couple times until you hear the circulation pump.
STEP 5: Open all the hot water faucets in the RV and let the water run until the Amber LED stops flashing. This could take 15 minutes or more. During this time you will hear the circulation pump turning off and on in intervals of 30 seconds. The burner won’t ignite during this sequence.
STEP 6: Once the flush cycle is complete the Amber LED on the AquaGo Control Panel will go out and you will see a Red LED fault code on the AquaGo PCB. This is fault code 31 (S,S,S,L,L,L,L,L) “Decalcification Complete”.
STEP 7: Turn the inside AquaGo Control Panel to the OFF position
STEP 8: Turn the outside switch on the AquaGo PCB to the OFF position and wait 30 seconds.
STEP 9: Turn the outside switch on the AquaGo PCB to the ON position – Green LED should illuminate.
STEP 10: Return the inside AquaGo Control Panel to desired operating mode until Amber LED
illuminates.
